- Minor fungal
disease of sporadic nature.
- Whitish fungal
threads traverse along the stem and spreads to petioles,
leaves and spikes (Image1).
- Infected
leaves and stems dry up.
- Dried up
leaves hang in the infected bush and gives a blighted
appearance (Image2).
- Collect and
destroy all severely affected stem and hanging leaves , along
with the mycelial threads.
- Spray 1%
Bordeaux mixture, twice at 3-4 weeks interval.
