Symptoms

• The caterpillar is slug like with spines on the body.
• The larva feeds on the entire lamina leaving behind only the midribs (Image3). Parasa lepida is another species
• It also feeds on banana.

Control Measures

• Spray Carbaryl 50WP 2g/L, if the attack is severe.
