Symptoms
- Failure to supply ample available nitrogen causes bleaching of the older leaves, impaired plant development, delayed growth, thin stems and distorted and discolored fruit.
- In severe cases, the whole plant collapses.
- Nitrogen deficiency may render the cucumber plant very sensitive to salinity.
