Symptoms
- The larva bores within green pods and feeds on seeds.
Pest: Spiny pod borer
This is a small moth. Fore wings are grayish. The coastal margins of forewings are white and bears a white transverse mark towards the base. Total life cycle from egg to adult takes about 24-40 days. Pupation takes place inside a cocoon below the ground or under dry leaves.
